Abstract

Introduction: Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia (RLH) or Pseudolymphoma of the liver is a benign lesion which etiology remains unknown, although it is considered to result from a reactive immunological response to a chronic infection or inflammatory process. It has been described in multiple organs but the liver involvement is extremely unusual. Imaging findings resemble other malignant lesions of the liver and laboratory tests are also unspecific. We report a case of RHL of the liver mimicking an hepatocellular carcinoma.
