Abstract

An unusual case of adenocarcinoma of the nose is described which began as a simple nasal polyp. Although clinically invasive, microscopic investigations did not show any definite malignant changes until after 5 years. Despite vigorous attempts it did not respond to surgery or irradiation treatment. It showed progressive locally malignant changes but did not metastasise.
