Abstract

Question: A 38-year-old woman with a past medical history of invasive signet ring cell gastric adenocarcinoma, status post total gastrectomy, presented with a newly swollen and painful umbilical mass. She completed 6 cycles of adjuvant chemotherapy (FOLFOX) followed by radiotherapy, that has been stable on imaging for two years. On physical examination, it is an erythematous, firm, and tender umbilical mass that is not reducible on examination (Figure A).
