Abstract
On 17-19 November 2006, the International Conference on New Legal Issues in European Economic Integration was held at the Wuhan University. This conference was regarded as the midterm stage for China-European Union Europe Study Center Program of European Studies Center of Wuhan University. It was organized by European Studies Center of Wuhan University accompanied by University of Manchester, UK and University of Aix-Marseille, France. There were about 70 scholars participating in the conference and more than 50 papers accepted by the organizers, which covered various fundamental and frontier issues on European Union (EU) law and policy.
