Abstract

The medical device industry is a critical sector that plays a vital role in healthcare delivery. Due to the nature of the work, medical device facilities are at risk of contamination from harmful microorganisms. Fogging is an essential method of disinfection that is used to eradicate pathogens and prevent the spread of infectious diseases in medical device facilities. This paper presents an overview of the importance of fogging in the medical device industry, highlighting the benefits of fogging as a disinfection method. The paper discusses the different disinfectants that can be used for fogging, and the equipment that is required for the process.
