Abstract

The traditional data management approaches are undergoing a paradigm shift due to an ongoing data-boom for which the traditional data processing techniques are proving to be inadequate. Big data is the generic term referring to these high volume data-sets which are difficult to analyze, owing to their size, speed of their arrival, and their heterogeneous origin. We review in this paper the literature relevant to the privacy and security aspects of the Big data. We also propose an integrated framework for privacy and security in Big data from the managerial perspective.
