These services are called by other software and are used to make new services as well. Therefore, service quality is one of important issues in service-oriented architecture, whereas this issue has a considerable impact in selecting and composition of services to be presented to the users. In this area and in order to update data obtained from web service operations, continuous monitoring of non-functional properties is of particular importance. In this paper, the existing techniques in monitoring process are classified and discussed in detail.
