Abstract

AbstractWe introduce the concept of isogeometric boundary element methods, by first reviewing the required trace spaces and then constructing a conforming spline discretisation. We highlight how to use this approach to solve Dirichlet problems induced by the Helmholtz‐ and electric wave equation, and conclude by presenting numerical examples.
