Abstract

Author's Summary— The necessarily analytical approach to a foreign language usually results in the student's never seeing the “forest for the trees.” The following simple outline of German grammar is offered as a kind of compass, by which he can orientate himself in the “forest” while acquiring familiarity with the various “trees.”
