Abstract

AbstractIn this article, a new true‐time‐delay photonic system is presented that drives a phased array antenna for beam steering and beamforming. It is optimized to use the least possible number of components and utilizes a very simple operation. It is tolerable in small differences of the excitation phase and distance between the elements of the phased array antenna. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
