Abstract

The vulnerability and network loss of active distribution network (ADN) will be influenced with the integration of distributed generation (DG) and electric vehicles (EVs). In order to solve this problem, a double-layer optimization model considering reactive power optimization of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) and network reconfiguration is proposed. The upper-layer model optimizes the line switch state combination of ADN to reduce the vulnerability value of ADN. The lower-layer model optimizes reactive power of EVCS to reduce the network loss of ADN. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to solve this optimal problem. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed optimal model is validated by IEEE33 node test system.
