Abstract
For the purpose of under water solar radiation measurement, a computational work has been performed to determine the optimal solar cell for this measurement. This work covers GaAs, CdTe, a-Si, InP, multi-Si, GaInP and mono-Si solar cells. The work involves the prediction of the total photocurrent and the efficiency of each cell at various depths below the water surface.
