Abstract
This paper describes the compact cesium beam frequency standard with magnetic state preparation and optical detection. We present the experimental set-up in detail. Results on its frequency stability and frequency shift are given. The short-term stability is 1.2×10−11 at 1 s and flicker floor is 2×10−13. Some approaches to improve the long-term stability are discussed.
