Abstract

We describe optical and structure design of an optical transceiver for remote sensing of multiple gas pollutants by long-path differential optical absorption spectroscopy. The optical transceiver consists of a primary mirror of 200 mm diameter with f/2, 70 mm diameter of secondary mirror and two fiber ports which are transmitting light and receiving light purposed, respectively. Our optical simulation proves the proposed telescope design enables ∼30 % fiber-coupling efficiency without significant spectral loss.
