Abstract
The instrument described will rescale and print a transparency in one direction only over a continuous range. Its use is demonstrated for the reproportioning of instrumental records taken on film, the illustrations to technical journals, or fashion photographs; and for giving trimetric projections of curves from their plan or elevation views, and stereoscopic pairs of these, including panoramic views from contour maps.
