Abstract
An operator formulation of superstring amplitudes at arbitrary genus is given, based on sewing together the tree-level 3-string amplitudes. The 3-string vertices are generalizations of the ‘3-reggeon’ vertices that now include contributions from world sheet fermions and superconformal ghosts. The superconformal ghost zero-mode insertions have a simple prescription. The formalism incorporates the sum over spin structures, and supermodular integrations. Picture changing is understood as a consequence of OSp(2,1) gauge fixing.
