Abstract
Total pelvic exenteration (TPE) is a morbid radical operation that is performed for locally advanced pelvic malignancy infiltrating adjacent pelvic organs. In males, this operation involves en-bloc resection of the rectum and urinary bladder along with all internal reproductive organs. The laparoscopic approach to TPE results in faster recovery. The pelvic floor reconstruction in this case was performed with absorbable mesh.
