Abstract
Problems of ileostomy prolapse and obstruction are reviewed. Based upon possible etiologic factors, a technic of ileostomy in which the limb of ileum is sutured to the fixed lateral peritoneum is described. The procedure can be performed simply and expeditiously and it has been employed successfully in ten patients.
