Abstract

A software package for maximum likelihood identification of nonlinear stochastic state vector systems is presented. The cornerstone of its design is the distinction made between application independent identification software and the application dependent user- defined model. The package consists of interactive data-processing commands which together form a toolkit for computer-aided nonlinear grey-box identification. By design, the package lends itself to interfacing with third-party modelling packages and to user interface encapsulation. Current efforts in interfacing the software are discussed within a recently developed framework for computer-aided control engineering (CACE) application integration.
