Abstract

This paper presents an ontology-based cloud service discovery mechanism that aims to provide desired cloud services over the internet to the cloud user. The main objective is to construct cloud ontology on the basis of services and attributes, that helps to analyse the query and to discover the cloud services. Ontology acts as a template to cloud services and the cloud services are stored as objects under cloud ontology template. The attributes (cost, security, interface, service level agreements, etc.) of a service are declared as properties for the objects. An intercloud registry is constructed to register and store the cloud services offered by different CSPs. The query submitted by the customer is processed using the query processing and rewriting engine and fetches the results using cloud ontology template. Further, on the basis of maximum que...
