Abstract

The novel Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) remains a signiÀ cant public health challenge across the world. Research on nursing students’ awareness of Covid-19 is limited in India. The present study aimed to assess nursing students’ knowledge and preventive practices towards Covid-19. This online cross-sectional descriptive survey among nursing students (n=332) at two universities from South India, data was collected using a structured questionnaire. Most of the nursing students had more knowledge in clinical presentation (M±SD, 8.07±1.53) and prevention and control (M±SD, 3.67±0.81) domains than in transmission routes (M±SD, 1.24± 0.65).
