Abstract
Dr. Melanie Molina: Today's case is a 59-year-old woman who presented to the emergency department (ED) with abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and a rash. The patient was in her usual state of health, when earlier in the day she started to feel very fatigued and short of breath, with severe abdominal pain in her right lower quadrant, associated with some blistering of the skin. She denied fever, but reported some chills. She denied nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dysuria, and chest pain.
