Abstract
In each case for a collection of seven large-amplitude events, spectral peaks in the 1 to 10 mHz range for electron precipitation pulsations were observed to correspond to spectral peaks for concurrent magnetic field pulsations. The converse is not true, i.e. a magnetic field pulsation spectral peak need not correspond to a precipitation spectral peak, and in fact there may not even be a concurrent precipitation pulsation event. The data are consistent with occurrences of interactions between a portion of the hydromagnetic wave spectrum and trapped electrons in the equatorial region of the field line of the site.
