Abstract

The 2B/X2.8 flare on 1982 March 30 is investigated in optical, radio and X-ray regions. The X-ray burst seems to consist of an impulsive component and a thermal component. In the early phase, the core of the hard X-ray (20–40 keV) source is located at one end which seems to be a footpoint of a loop or arcade. Then the core shifts to the center of the source which would be the center of the loop or arcade, in the main and later phase. A rather good relation between the images of the soft X-ray (7–14 keV) source and the Hα flare and a synchronous motion of the hard X-ray core with the peak of the 35 GHz one-directional intensity distribution has been found.
