Abstract

This presentation is to introduce the theory of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and explore the effects and implication of UDL on English classes in Korea. In this study, we will observe and analyze several English classes in elementary schools focusing on UDL. The experiment is designed to observe and analyze English classes in terms of Universal Design for Learning methodology. The classes have never been broadcasted by the Korean education channel - the Education Broadcasting System (EBS). The results of this study can give some ideas how we, English teachers, can let all the students access our class enjoyably and efficiency with diversifying teaching strategies.
