Abstract
Yukio Yoneda died on 31 December 2023, at 73 years old after a long fight against cancer. He was an eminent neurochemist in academia and industry and also had leadership roles within the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) and the Asian Pacific Society for Neurochemistry (APSN) and Japanese Society for Neurochemistry (JSN).
