Abstract

This work reports the experimental results of the uniaxial pressure dependence at various temperatures of the spin-lattice relaxation time, T 1, in paradichlorobenzene single crystals. The directionality of the pressure dependence, together the temperature dependence ot T 1 near room temperature, give us some information about the dependence of the molecular torsional frequencies and lifetimes of the oscillations ground levels with the intermolecular crystalline potential.
