Abstract

In practise one is not only interested in system stability but also in bounds of system trajectories. In such cases, finite-time stability plays an important role. In this note, finite-time stabilization of linear systems with disturbances generated by an exosystem is considered. First, sufficient conditions for finite-time stability is presented. Then, finite-time stabilization for linear systems via both state feedback and output feedback are both considered. The sufficient conditions for the existence of such controllers can be reduced to LMI feasible problem. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
