Abstract

In this work, we develop a new and efficient iterative method for di-agonalization of the Frobenius companion matrix. The method can beused for approximating all of the eigenvalues and corresponding eigen-vectors. It can also be used for simultaneous inclusion of all simplezeros of the corresponding characteristic polynomial. Local conver-gence analysis of the method is included. We prove that it is locallyquadratically convergent. Some numerical examples demonstrating ef-fectiveness of the proposed iterative method are also included
