Abstract
A new isoflavone, noririsflorentin, isolated from the rhizomes of Belamcanda chinensis is shown to have the structure 5-hydroxy-6,7-methylenedioxy-3′,4′,5′-trimethoxyisoflavone on the basis of spectral analysis and chemical conversion.
