Abstract
The SEG Foundation has experienced significant growth of reserves and expenditures in recent years—partly because SEG members are getting involved in the activities supported by the Foundation. The SEG Foundation Trustee Associates are playing a major role via more proactive fund raising. The Trustee Associates are SEG members who share a commitment to the Society as well as to furthering the growth of the profession of geophysics. Trustee Associates provide important input concerning the future directions of the Foundation at two annual gatherings—one at SEG's Annual Meeting and at the Annual Meeting of the Trustee Associates.
