Abstract

Teacher information literacy is the demand of the “Internet +”, and it is also an important measure to achieve instruction of a high-quality and professional teaching team. On the basis of consulting domestic and foreign-related documents, this study uses mature teacher quality evaluation indicators to evaluate the primary and secondary school teachers in one North Province of Western China. Evaluation dimensions include information awareness, information knowledge, information application, information ethics and safety, and teacher professional development. The research found that there are obvious differences in the information literacy of teachers in different research objects, different stages, different regions, and different subjects. On this basis, the paper puts forward some strategies, such as paying attention to the balanced development of educational inforrnatizatlon, carrying out the normal evaluation of teachers' information literacy, paying attention to using information technology to train teachers' information literacy, so as to improve the information application ability and the information literacy level of teachers and promote the deepening development of regional education informatization.
