Abstract

The results of experimental and theoretical investigations of the carbon plastic properties of the LUP carbon tape and epoxy binder are given. A copper coating was applied on the surface of the carbon tape by the magnetron sputtering LUP method, and the thermal conductivity and thermal capacity for the carbon fiber were determined. A simulation of the kinetics of the sample heating process (in the process of curing) was carried out, and the temperature values on the surface in the middle of the samples depending on their dimensions were found. It was established that application of the carbon tape with the copper coating allows quicker and uniform heating.
