Abstract

Internationalisation is currently on the agenda in many higher education institutions yet there is a good deal of disparity in the interpretation and implementation of internationalisation at programme level. The paper reports the findings from the first stage of a research project that investigates the international dimensions of undergraduate hospitality management degree programmes in the UK. The research suggests that there is potential for enhancements to be made to the explicit features of international hospitality management degree programmes and the way in which international opportunities are maximised for both staff and students.
