Abstract

This article presents the results of a study designed to determine the effects of computerized electronic communication systems on organizational communication and the concepts and competencies which should be stressed in preparing students for an electronic communication environment. Data were collected from Association for Business Communication members and Office Systems Research Association members. Analyses resulted in the development of a model of the organizational impact of implementing an electronic communication system and implications for curriculum decelopment.
