Abstract
1. Cast 20KhML casing steel is a stabilized material with a small degree of work hardening (with small ranges of deformation) and loss of strength (with large ranges of deformation). Stabilization is observed both in the case of purely low-cycle testing and in cyclic tests with the relaxation of stresses in the cycle. 2. Cyclic relaxation in the cycle has a strengthening effect on the resistance of 20KhML steel to shortterm cyclic deformation. 3. With sufficient accuracy for practical use 20KhML steel follows the rule of linear totalling of longterm and fatigue damages.
