This paper presents a study of senior secondary school student's perception on counselling services in Awka metropolis. Descriptive survey design was used in the study. A total of 180 public senior secondary students were sampled. The researcher developed questionnaire on senior secondary student's perception on counselling services questionnaire (SESSPOCS) which consists of 15 items to address the three research questions in the study. The questionnaire was validated by three experts as mean and t-test were used for data analysis. The study revealed that the perception of senior secondary school students in Awka metropolis on counselling services is positive and that gender has an insignificant influence on the perception of students. Based on these findings, the research recommended that school counsellors should always provide for other services that may be lacking through seminars and that Counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON) stipulate a minimum requirement for prospective counsellors in order to enhance counselling in Nigeria.
