Abstract
Objective To investigate the acceptability of pereutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and current situation of in-patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) in order to establish appropriate interventions. Methods A self-designed questionnaire, 36-item shot form health survey (SF-36), social support rating scale (SSRS) and self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)were used to collect data in this study. Results Two hundred and nine patients received PCI and 89 rejected it. There were no differences in the scores of SF-36 and SSRS between two groups but in the scores of SAS and the knowledge of CHD, the difference was significant. Conclusions Enhancing the CHD patients' knowledge of CHD can improve the treatment compliance. Key words: Coronary Heart Disease; Percutaneous Coronary Intervention; Investigation
