Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reduce cases of fraudulent claims by contractors in construction projects. The main objectives are to establish the various fraudulent claims by contractors, assessing the cost implication of these fraudulent claims, and suggest measures of curbing fraud in construction projects Using survey methodology that considered firms of contractors registered and operating in Nairobi, this research will be conducted on construction projects in Nairobi-Kenya. The data collection method will include interviews, questionnaires, observation, case studies, and documents/records, and then presented in tables and graphs.
