Abstract
Decay and deterioration of products becomes a crucial problem. In most of the business situations the demand for the product is depends upon stock. So, in this paper we developed an inventory model for decaying items with stock dependent demand and shortage. Numerical illustration is carried out by using software Mathematica. Sensitivity analysis is carried out for the behavior of different parameters on optimal solution.
