Abstract

At the beginning of each school year I am always amazed at how many students do not know fellow classmates. Another school year was beginning and I vowed that this year would be different. I developed the following introductory activity. I found that it not only introduces the students to each other and provides material to apply to developing mathematical concepts, but also creates a climate for an “our classroom” atmosphere.
