Abstract
In China, power markets can be divided into two levels, which are the provincial and inter-provincial power markets. Power transaction among provinces is limited to the available transfer capacity (ATC). What's more, with the promotion of the aim to achieve carbon neutrality, more and more renewable energy power stations are integrated into the grid. The increasing electrical equipment makes the power load change more frequently. These factors together bring great uncertainties to power trading. To promote the inter-provincial power transaction and better reduce the effects of uncertainty from renewable power and load demand, this paper establishes an inter-provincial power transaction model based on bi-level power market taking uncertainties of renewable energy and load into account. With the case study based on a modified two-level power market, the effectiveness of power transaction model is verified.
