Abstract

In the development of numerical schemes for compressible multiphase flows, the treatment of the interface is important. In this paper, we proposed a numerical method based on interface interactions where the ghost cells of the ghost fluid method are determined by solving the real interface interaction and the hypothetical ghost interaction. Numerical tests in one dimension and the two dimensional examples suggest that the present scheme is simple but able to handle gas-water flows with interface.
