An Interactive Injection Mold Design with CAE and Moldflow Analysis for Plastic Components

Abstract

Injection molding products are involved in a variety of process parameters and conditions to be considered while in production. Computer-aided design, manufacturing, and injection molding process simulations were very useful in the injection molding of plastic parts. An early prediction of process parameters with an interactive procedure were helpful in saving production lead time as well as producing defect-free products at first trial of injection mold.
