Abstract

Aiming at the problem of traffic signal control in multi intersection, a system model based on wireless sensor network(WSN) is proposed. According to the characteristics of intelligent transportation system, the hardware structure of sensor node, central control node and upper and lower computer is designed and implemented. According to the original static network model, the vehicle node is added to collect the bus flow information. At the same time, the classical genetic algorithm is introduced to reduce its time complexity, and the adjacent individual pruning strategy is adopted to improve the uniformity of solution distribution. The simulation results show that the system can realize the intelligent control of traffic signal, and the effect is better than the traditional control method, which also shoes good application value.
