Abstract
This paper presents a new style, low cost solar dryer - integrated solar dryer; that is a combination of air collector and drying chamber. The drying process is enhanced by air circulation in the chamber. The characteristics of the solar dryer, its structure and design are presented. The calculation formula of solar dryer efficiency is recommended. The dehydrating capability of the solar dryer is up to 4.5 kg/m2.d. The drying efficiency is around 60%.
