Abstract

Varicoceles appear to affect later stages of spermatogenesis and cause scrotal hyperthermia, hypoxia, hormonal imbalances, and re-flow of metabolites from renal and/or adrenal glands leading to oxidative stress. The objective was to study the major differences in the distribution of spermatozoa proteins in infertile men with varicocele compared to fertile men.
