Abstract
The purpose of the present study was to develop a curriculum with which we can teach English for Science and Technology (EST) in college classes. In this paper we proposed an integrated syllabus, through which we expect to succeed in teaching EST to the proficiency level that the students need to reach in four years. The course structure consists of two types of core systems and a supra-system. The first type of core systems is for improving overall English proficiency, and the other is for teaching vocabulary; both achieve greater efficiency than was possible before.
