Abstract
ABSTRACT This paper reviews the evolution of a mainly manually operated maintenance, warehouse and purchasing system for the Mobil North Sea Limited ('Mobil') operated Beryl field inthe U.K. North Sea and gives the strategy of a transition toward an on-line computerised systemcalled MIMICS (Mobil Integrated Maintenance and Control System).
