Abstract

An instrument for use during the Dautrey procedure is described. The instrument is designed to facilitate precise control over movements of the zygomatic arch following osteotomy. The risk of uncontrolled arch fracture and resulting formation of a mobile fragment, a potential complication of the Dautrey procedure, is reduced by the use of this instrument.
